Dario Amodei is an AI researcher and business executive who is chief executive officer and a co-founder of Anthropic, an artificial intelligence company that develops the Claude family of AI models. He co-founded Anthropic with six others in January 2021 and has served as chief executive and a director since. Before that he was vice president of research at OpenAI from July 2016 to December 2020, and earlier a senior research scientist at Google Brain.
