Features

What data sources does SentiSense cover?

SentiSense aggregates content from major financial news outlets, X (formerly Twitter), Reddit, and Substack. Our AI clusters related articles into Stories and tracks sentiment across all sources to help you stay informed about market movements and stock discussions. News and Social feeds are available on all tiers.

What are Stories?

Stories are AI-clustered groups of related news articles about the same market event or theme. Instead of reading dozens of individual articles, Stories give you a single, comprehensive view of each market narrative with sentiment analysis and key takeaways. Free tier includes 10 story views per month; Pro tier has unlimited access.

What is the Institutional Tracker?

The Institutional Tracker provides SEC 13F filing data showing what major institutions, hedge funds, and activist investors are buying and selling. It includes aggregate institutional flows, individual holder positions, activist investor activity, and options positioning. This is a Pro-only feature. Institutional data is also available via the Institutional Flows API at sentisense.ai/docs/api/institutional-flows.

What is Market Mood?

Market Mood is an AI-powered indicator that gauges overall market sentiment based on news and social media analysis. It provides a quick read on whether the market tone is bullish, bearish, or neutral. Market Mood is free for all users with unlimited access.

What are Stock Reports?

Stock Reports are AI-generated professional research reports for individual stocks, covering fundamentals, sentiment trends, institutional activity, and key risks. They are available exclusively on the Pro tier.

Which stocks does SentiSense cover?

We actively curate tickers across the major US indexes, including the S&P 500, Dow Jones Industrial Average, and Nasdaq 100, with AI-assisted reports and sentiment for each. Coverage expands on a rolling basis. Tickers outside the actively curated universe may return basic profile data without reports or KPIs.

Do you cover ETFs?

ETF coverage is in beta as of May 15, 2026, starting with a small set of widely-traded funds such as SPY, QQQ, IWM, VOO, VTI, and the major SPDR sector ETFs. We display holdings composition, fund profile, and (where available) sentiment derived from news and social mentions. Holdings are refreshed periodically; some funds show a top-N preview while we improve coverage. Expect ETF data quality and breadth to keep improving.

API & Developer

How do I access the SentiSense API?

Both Free and Pro tiers include API access. Generate an API key in Settings > Developer Console, then include it as the X-SentiSense-API-Key header in your requests. Free tier includes 1,000 requests per month (30 per minute), and Pro tier includes 100,000 requests per month (200 per minute). Full documentation is available at sentisense.ai/docs/api.

Which API endpoints are public?

Many endpoints work without authentication, including stock prices, charts, and fundamentals (sentisense.ai/docs/api/stocks), news articles (sentisense.ai/docs/api/documents), and story listings. Authenticated endpoints (requiring an API key) include full institutional flows data, AI stock summaries, and story detail views beyond the free quota.
