Amazon Expands Health AI to All US Customers, Oracle Health Helps Docs
Amazon's Health AI assistant is now available to all US customers, expanding access and support. Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent helps doctors focus on patient care.
AMZN began rolling out its Health AI assistant to all U.S. customers on March 11th, expanding beyond its One Medical subscriber base to reach users on Amazon.com and the Amazon app. The AI-powered tool, built on AWS Bedrock infrastructure, can explain lab results and medical images, interpret bloodwork against individual health history, answer symptom questions, recommend care levels, and manage prescription renewals.
U.S. Prime members receive up to five free direct-message consultations for over 30 common conditions, while non-Prime users can access providers through a pay-per-visit model. Health AI originally launched in beta for One Medical members in early 2025 before going live for primary care subscribers in January 2026. The broader rollout significantly expands the addressable user base.
The move positions Amazon as an increasingly serious player in digital health, leveraging its massive consumer platform to drive adoption of AI-assisted healthcare. Separately, ORCL Health is expanding its own clinical AI tools for physicians. Investors should watch patient engagement metrics and whether Health AI drives incremental Prime subscription conversions for Amazon.
