AMD Unveils Ryzen 7 7700X3D and 5800X3D Revival at Computex

AMD has announced the launch of the Ryzen 7 7700X3D CPU and the revival of the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, both on June 16th. The Ryzen 7 7700X3D is priced at $329 and the Ryzen 5800X3D Anniversary Edition is priced at $349, to be released on June 25th. A new Radeon RX 9070 GRE with 12 GB of memory, priced at $549, is also available globally.

AMD used the Computex trade show to announce its Ryzen 7 7700X3D gaming CPU, priced at $329. The company also revived its popular 3D V-Cache lineup with a 10th Anniversary Edition of the Ryzen 7 5800X3D at $349. Both chips are slated to launch together later this summer.

AMD rounded out the announcements with a new Radeon RX 9070 GRE graphics card carrying 12 GB of memory at $549, available globally. The refresh spans both CPUs and GPUs, underscoring AMD's push to defend share across the enthusiast PC hardware market.

The timing is notable: the launches land just as NVDA pushes into Arm-based laptop chips and INTC works to stabilize its desktop roadmap. For investors, the question is whether AMD's gaming-focused 3D V-Cache franchise can sustain pricing power and unit momentum as competition across the PC silicon stack intensifies.
