BlackRock reported adjusted third-quarter EPS of $15.93 on revenue of $7.75 billion, both ahead of estimates, as clients added $205 billion of net inflows, $135 billion of it into iShares ETFs. Assets under management reached $15.5 trillion, up 15% from a year earlier, and the adjusted operating margin widened to 47.8%. The shares rose before the open but were roughly flat by early afternoon.

BLK reported third-quarter 2026 adjusted earnings of $15.93 per share on Wednesday, ahead of the $14.32 consensus, on revenue of $7.75 billion versus a $7.42 billion estimate. Revenue rose 19% from a year earlier and adjusted EPS climbed 38% from $11.55, according to the company's release. GAAP diluted EPS was $10.57.

Flows drove the quarter. Clients added $205 billion of total net inflows, of which $175 billion was long-term money. iShares ETFs took in $135 billion, cash management $31 billion and private markets $15.3 billion. Assets under management reached $15.5 trillion at Sept. 30, up 15% from a year earlier and above the prior quarter's $15.3 trillion. Organic base fee growth ran at an 11% annualized rate, and the adjusted operating margin widened to 47.8% from 44.6%.

"BlackRock's results demonstrate the value of our integrated platform, as clients increasingly choose us as a partner across investing, financing, and technology," CEO Larry Fink said in the release, adding that clients had entrusted the firm with $869 billion of net inflows over the past year. The company repurchased $550 million of stock in the quarter. In private credit, Reuters reported that redemption requests at the HPS Corporate Lending Fund eased to about 11.5% of shares in the third quarter from 13.3% in the second.

The stock's reaction faded through the session. Shares rose between roughly 3% and 5% before the open, according to Reuters and Investing.com, then gave back the gain; at 13:34 ET the stock stood at $1,067.30, up 0.1% from the prior close of $1,066.12, based on SentiSense's 15-minute delayed quote.

From here, the questions are whether ETF inflows hold at this pace, whether private markets fundraising accelerates from $15.3 billion a quarter, and whether redemption pressure in private credit keeps easing.
