CRH Reports Strong Q2 Earnings and Revenue Growth
CRH reported Q2 EPS $2.21, exceeding FactSet estimates. The company's Q2 revenue reached $10.78 billion, beating estimates. The strong results reaffirm CRH's FY26 outlook, with a maintained guidance of EPS 5.60-6.05.
CRH reported second-quarter 2026 adjusted EPS of $2.21, well ahead of FactSet's $1.99 estimate, while revenue of $10.78 billion topped the $10.68 billion consensus. Revenue grew 6% year over year from $10.2 billion, and net income rose 13% to $1.5 billion as adjusted EBITDA climbed 7% to $2.6 billion, expanding margin by 30 basis points to 24.4%.
Growth was broad-based across CRH's segments: Americas Materials Solutions led with a 10% revenue increase to $5.0 billion and adjusted EBITDA up 12% to $1.4 billion, while International Solutions grew revenue 5% to $3.7 billion. Americas Building Solutions was the soft spot, with revenue down 2% to $2.1 billion.
CRH reaffirmed its full-year 2026 guidance of $5.60 to $6.05 in diluted EPS, along with adjusted EBITDA of $8.1 billion to $8.5 billion and net income of $3.9 billion to $4.1 billion . The quarter also included 11 completed acquisitions worth $1.1 billion and the pending $8.5 billion deal to acquire Arcosa, expected to close in the first quarter of 2027.
The board also raised its quarterly dividend 5% to $0.39 per share. With guidance held steady rather than raised, investors will be watching whether pricing momentum in North American materials can offset the softer building-products segment through the back half of the year.
