Datadog Stock Price Target Raised by Multiple Brokers
Wells Fargo, Oppenheimer, and JMP raised their price targets for Datadog, with estimates ranging from $295 to $311. These targets reflect strong confidence in the company's infrastructure.
Datadog drew a fresh wave of price-target increases from Wall Street brokerages this week, with two firms lifting their targets on July 20, 2026 alone as analysts point to accelerating cloud infrastructure spending tied to AI adoption. DDOG shares traded near $265 on the day, up more than 2% intraday.
JMP Securities raised its target to $311 from $225 while keeping a Market Outperform rating, arguing that infrastructure software stocks are in a far better position than application software this year: eight of the 15 infrastructure names JMP covers are up year to date even as the median stock across its broader software coverage is down roughly 25%. The firm pointed to Datadog's near-80% gross margin and about 30% revenue growth as evidence the company is holding up better than most peers.
Oppenheimer separately raised its target to $300 from $220 while maintaining an Outperform rating , part of a broader cluster of upgrades this month from firms including UBS and Mizuho, which have also moved their targets toward the $300 to $315 range, citing strength in cloud infrastructure spend and AI-driven observability demand.
The new targets, clustered between $300 and $311, sit well above the roughly $257 average 12-month target across the broader analyst base tracked by data providers, a gap that could narrow if more firms follow suit or could signal the stock has already priced in much of the near-term upside analysts expect. Investors could watch Datadog's next earnings report for confirmation that consumption trends and newer AI-related products such as agent governance, GPU monitoring and LLM observability are translating into the growth these targets assume, since any slowdown could pressure a stock that already trades at a steep premium multiple.
