Diodes Q2 Earnings and Revenue Exceed Expectations

Diodes reported Q2 revenue of $445.5 million, a 20% increase year-over-year, exceeding the estimated $436.6 million. The company's quarterly earnings per share were $1.00.

DIOD reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $445.5 million, up from $366.2 million a year earlier and $405.5 million in the prior quarter, beating the $436.6 million FactSet consensus estimate. It marked the company's sixth consecutive quarter of double-digit year-over-year revenue growth, with gains in every geographic region and record global point-of-sale activity.

GAAP net income rose to $46.6 million, or $1.00 per diluted share, from $46.1 million, or $0.99 per share, a year earlier. GAAP gross profit was $147.6 million, a 33.1% margin, while non-GAAP adjusted net income came in at $32.5 million, or $0.70 per diluted share.

Despite the beat, shares fell 3.1% to $85.74 after the company issued third-quarter guidance that drew a mixed reaction. Diodes expects Q3 2026 revenue of approximately $510 million, plus or minus 3%, roughly 30% year-over-year growth and 14% sequential growth at the midpoint, with GAAP gross margin of 35% and non-GAAP adjusted EPS of $1.05, each with a similar range of variance.

The decline despite record results suggests investors may be weighing valuation and the durability of double-digit growth as prior-year comparisons get tougher. Automotive and industrial demand, the drivers management cited, could determine whether Diodes sustains this growth streak into 2027.
