Facebook Launched 'Creator Fast Track' to Lure Top Creators from TikTok and YouTube
Facebook has introduced a new program to lure popular creators to its Content Monetization program, offering up to $3,000 bonuses for posting on Facebook. Creators can earn up to $3,000 a month and a total of $3 billion through Facebook's monetization programs in 2025.
META launched the Creator Fast Track program on March 18, targeting established creators from TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram with direct payments of up to $3,000 per month to post content on Facebook . The program offers two tiers: $1,000 monthly for creators with 100,000+ followers on a rival platform, and $3,000 monthly for those with 1 million or more, provided they publish at least 15 Reels per month for three consecutive months.
Participants receive boosted algorithmic reach and immediate access to Facebook's Content Monetization program, which encompasses in-stream ads, Stars tipping, and brand partnership tools . The initiative reflects Meta's aggressive push to revitalize Facebook's creator ecosystem after years of losing top talent to TikTok's more lucrative Creator Fund and YouTube's partner program. Meta paid creators approximately $3 billion in 2025, a 35% year-over-year increase.
The program is initially available in the U.S. and Canada for creators aged 18 and older. For investors, Creator Fast Track represents Meta's bet that direct creator subsidies can drive content quality improvements on Facebook Reels, which remains a key engagement metric as the company competes for short-form video advertising dollars against TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
