The platform combines real-time field data from Fervo's active geothermal sites with physics-based subsurface modeling and AI-driven forecasting, integrated into Nvidia's Omniverse simulation environment. The collaboration addresses a fundamental barrier to EGS at scale: operators have no real-time visibility into what happens underground after injection. PNNL trains AI models on Nvidia accelerated computing using Fervo's field data from its Cape Station site in Utah; those models are then integrated into Omniverse so geothermal engineers can detect subsurface anomalies and optimize power generation dynamically.
