The company says the design lets a single coordinated system support much larger blocks of critical load than traditional low-voltage UPS arrangements, which could help buffer sudden demand swings from being passed back to the grid and support power-quality requirements. GE Vernova expects to begin shipping MV-UPS systems in mid-2027, with the first project energized in late 2027.
