Netflix Now Available in The Spectrum App Store for Internet, TV Customers

Netflix has become available for Internet and TV customers through the Spectrum app store. This addition allows users to directly purchase and access Netflix from Spectrum's platform. The integration is a convenient option for users to access their streaming content.

NFLX is now available for purchase directly inside the Spectrum App Store as of June 18, 2026, giving CHTR customers -- both internet-only and TV subscribers -- a single marketplace to discover, activate, and pay for streaming services. Customers can choose between ad-supported and ad-free Netflix tiers from within the Spectrum interface, with billing consolidated through Charter.

The Spectrum App Store, launched earlier as Charter's answer to the bundle fragmentation problem, already includes a substantial lineup: eligible TV subscribers receive over 25 per month in retail streaming value through services like Disney+ Hulu Bundle, ESPN Unlimited, Max, Paramount+ Essential, Peacock Premium, and others. Netflix is a meaningful addition given its status as the largest subscription streaming platform globally, and its absence from that bundle had been a notable gap.

For CHTR, the deal continues a strategy of positioning Spectrum as a neutral aggregation layer that captures a slice of streaming economics without having to produce content. Charter serves nearly 59 million homes and businesses across 41 states, giving Netflix access to a distribution surface that could accelerate subscriber conversion among broadband-only customers who have not yet subscribed. The arrangement mirrors deals Charter has struck with other streaming providers in the App Store.

For NFLX, the partnership is part of a broader distribution push that has seen the company expand into live sports, advertising-supported tiers, and operator bundling deals. Netflix reported slowing subscriber growth in recent quarters and has signaled that distribution partnerships with cable and telecom operators could be a meaningful net-new subscriber channel, particularly in households that still pay for a cable TV base.

The financial terms of the arrangement were not disclosed. Operator bundling deals of this type typically involve a wholesale rate paid by Charter to Netflix, with Charter capturing margin on the retail price. Whether this structure proves accretive for both sides will depend on conversion rates among the Spectrum customer base.
