Nvidia introduced a 64GB configuration of its DGX Spark desktop AI system, starting at $4,999 and available Oct. 23 from Acer, ASUS, Dell, Gigabyte, HP and MSI. It keeps the GB10 Grace Blackwell chip, software stack and two-unit clustering of the 128GB model, which stays on sale. Halving the memory makes it pricier per gigabyte: about $78, versus about $31 for the 128GB model at its $3,999 launch price.
Nvidia (NVDA) is adding a 64GB version of its DGX Spark desktop AI system, starting at $4,999 and available Friday, Oct. 23 through Acer, ASUS, Dell, Gigabyte, HP and MSI. Nvidia is not offering a 64GB Founders Edition of its own, so the new tier is sold only through partners.
The new configuration halves the unified memory of the original but keeps the same GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, DGX OS and Nvidia AI software stack as the 128GB model. A single unit runs models of up to 100 billion parameters. Two units can be clustered to pool 128GB and handle models of up to 200 billion parameters, delivering up to 1.7x the performance of one system, with the Nvidia Sync app handling the setup.
The pricing tells a memory-cost story. The 128GB model, which launched at $3,999, now lists at $6,950 according to Startup Fortune, after a February increase to $4,699; Techgenyz still cites $4,699 on Nvidia's US marketplace. Either way, the cheaper box costs more per gigabyte: about $78, against about $31 for the 128GB model at its launch price. The 128GB model stays on sale, so the 64GB tier sits beside it rather than replacing it.
Startup Fortune framed the value case against cloud rental: with a single H100 instance running $2 to $4 an hour, a $4,999 unit pays for itself in roughly 1,500 to 2,500 hours. Watch whether partner pricing holds at launch and whether memory costs push the lineup's prices higher again.
