Nvidia Partners Firmus for Indonesia AI Infrastructure Buildout

Nvidia has partnered with Firmus to build AI infrastructure in Indonesia, targeting $30 billion in revenue. The companies will deploy 170,000 AI accelerators in Indonesia as part of the joint effort.

Nvidia NVDA and Australia's Firmus Technologies have partnered to deploy up to 170,000 Nvidia AI accelerators at Firmus' Batam campus in Indonesia, an island just off Singapore. The buildout spans Nvidia's Grace-Blackwell, Vera-Rubin, and Vera platforms through 2027 and 2028, anchoring a 360-megawatt Nvidia DSX AI Factory campus developed alongside Singapore-based DayOne and slated to go live in Q1 2027.

Firmus expects to receive between $25 billion and $30 billion from committed offtake agreements over the first six years of the deal, with the partnership running through 2034. Under the structure, Firmus procures Nvidia infrastructure for customers through a revenue-sharing and credit-support model, selling Nvidia-powered cloud services while NVDA earns both standard product revenue and a share of cloud revenue on the supported capacity.

The deal underscores how Nvidia is extending its reach into sovereign and regional AI infrastructure across Asia Pacific, locking in long-dated GPU demand outside the U.S. and China. For investors, it adds visibility to Nvidia's data-center pipeline, though the multi-year offtake figures depend on end-customer demand materializing and on power, supply-chain, and financing execution at one of the region's largest AI campuses.
