Oracle Japan's Cloud Sales Surge 34.3%, FY 2027 Guidance Targets 10% Growth
Oracle Japan recorded a 34.3% surge in cloud revenue. The company provides guidance for up to 10% revenue growth and offers special dividends for FY 2027
Oracle Japan (TYO: 4716) reported its FY2026 annual results, posting cloud revenue of ¥83.2 billion — a 34.3% increase year-over-year from ¥62.0 billion, as enterprises across Japan accelerated migrations to the company's cloud infrastructure and SaaS suite. Cloud now represents 29.2% of Oracle Japan's ¥285.1 billion total revenue, up from roughly 22.5% in FY2025, and total company revenue grew 8.2% for the year.
The board declared total dividends of ¥858 per share for FY2026, comprising a regular dividend of ¥198 and a special dividend of ¥660 — the latter reflecting strong cash generation and a surplus capital return to shareholders. Going forward, the board has committed to a normal dividend payout ratio of approximately 40% of earnings.
For FY2027, Oracle Japan guided revenue growth of 6% to 10%, with EPS projected at ¥525-¥540. The guidance reflects an expectation that cloud momentum will continue even as the legacy on-premise transition base gradually shrinks, positioning Oracle Japan to close the gap with Oracle's global cloud mix. Parent Oracle Corporation reported OCI (infrastructure) growing at 50%+ globally for FY2026, suggesting the Japan unit's 34.3% cloud growth still trails the hypergrowth infrastructure segment and leaves room for further acceleration as Japanese enterprises adopt AI and ERP cloud workloads.
