UPS reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $22.9 billion, up 6.7% and above the LSEG/IBES estimate of $22.286 billion, with adjusted EPS of $1.69 topping the roughly $1.62 to $1.63 consensus. The company raised its full-year outlook to about $92.6 billion in revenue and about $7.28 in adjusted EPS, from $91.2 billion and $7.22 in July. Adjusted EPS was still below last year's $1.74, which included a one-time gain, and shares rose about 2% before the open.

UPS reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $22.9 billion on Tuesday, October 27, up 6.7% from a year earlier with growth in all three segments. That topped the LSEG/IBES estimate of $22.286 billion. Adjusted diluted EPS came in at $1.69, six cents above the $1.63 consensus cited ahead of the report; S&P's consensus of $1.62, per StockStory, was slightly lower. GAAP EPS was $1.37 after a $279 million net charge for transformation costs and a goodwill impairment in Supply Chain Solutions.

The quarter was the first full test of a smaller, more automated network. UPS finished its planned volume reduction from its largest customer, Amazon, in the second quarter, after cutting roughly 2 million packages per day this year while automating buildings and chasing healthcare and small-business shippers. CEO Carol Tomé said the company enters the holiday season "with the most automated and efficient network in our history."

The mix shift showed in the segments. U.S. Domestic revenue rose 4.5% on a 6.1% gain in revenue per piece even as average daily volume fell, with a 7.0% adjusted operating margin. International revenue grew 7.1% at a 14.9% margin, and Supply Chain Solutions grew 18.2% on forwarding and healthcare logistics. Consolidated adjusted operating margin was 9.0%, down from 10.0% a year earlier, and adjusted EPS trailed last year's $1.74, which included a $0.30 sale-leaseback gain.

UPS raised its 2026 guidance for the second straight quarter: revenue of about $92.6 billion, adjusted operating profit of about $8.75 billion and adjusted EPS of about $7.28, up from $91.2 billion, $8.65 billion and $7.22 in July, plus adjusted free cash flow of about $6.1 billion. It expects fourth-quarter revenue of about $25.7 billion. Shares were up about 1.8% in early premarket trading from Monday's $100.32 close. What to watch: whether peak-season volume confirms the margin story, and the cost of the Efficiency Reimagined program, which is not expected to conclude until the fourth quarter of 2027.
