Sentiment Divergence

7-day SentiSense Score has jumped 8 or more points above a 1-month baseline that is still neutral ยท As of 2026-10-13 02:57 UTC

This screen finds stocks where the last week of conversation has turned sharply more bullish while the longer month still reads neutral. The week and the month disagree, which usually means something new happened: a product launch, an earnings surprise, a deal, or a story that pulled a quiet name into the conversation. It is a list of names that are waking up, worth checking to see what changed.

How this screen is computed

Each stock has two SentiSense Scores, a 7-day reading and a 1-month baseline, both built from news and social sentiment weighted by how actively the stock is discussed. The screen keeps stocks whose baseline sits in the neutral band and whose 7-day Score has risen above it by more than the normal week-to-week swing, then sorts by the size of that gap, largest first. The neutral baseline is what separates a stock waking up from one that was already popular.

Frequently asked questions

What is a sentiment divergence?

On this screen it is a gap between two time windows of the same stock: the last week of coverage is much more bullish than the last month. Traders also use the term for sentiment moving one way while price moves the other, which is what the Oversold + Bullish screen looks for.

Does a divergence mean the stock will rise?

No. It means the conversation changed recently. The Score describes the present, not the future, and the reason behind the jump can be good or bad for the business. This page is educational and is not financial advice.

How often does this screen update?

The stock data behind this screen refreshes about every 20 minutes during US market hours, every 30 minutes before and after the session, hourly overnight, and once over the weekend. This page can trail that by up to 10 minutes. The 7-day SentiSense Score moves more slowly than price, because it summarizes a full week of coverage.
